General Assembly
VisionFest
Show and Tell
A portion of the Oregon Convention Center will
be transformed into an interactive festival setting where
congregations and regions of all sizes will be sharing, through
displays and demonstrations, the myriad and creative ways
they are giving life to the church's mission.
Congregations and regions have expressed an
interest in what others are doing in ministry and mission
and they have lots of great ideas to share! Check out Vision
Fest at General Assembly.
What is Vision Fest?
Imagine a festival
marketplace filled with ideas for your congregation... ideas
that will help congregations find new and creative ways to
live into the vision to which God has called us.
Imagine 70,000 square
feet of space filled with interactive experiences: walk and
experience a labyrinth, experience what it feels like to journey
as a refugee, hear biblical storytellers as they make pottery
and much more.
Imagine congregations
and regions from around our church sharing the creative and
innovative ways they are living out the vision in their communities
and around the world. Displays and interaction with folks
from these congregations will tell the stories of their "vision
work."
When is Vision Fest?
Vision Fest is open Sunday, Monday and Tuesday,
from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
