Office of Disciples Volunteering
About Gulf Coast Mission Stations
The Gulf Coast Mission Stations were established at the end of 2005 to accommodate the immense hurricane recovery work required as a consequence of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. More recently, the Greensburg, Kan., Mission Station was added after that town's devastating tornado.
If you are interested in learning more or volunteering, visit the Disciples Disaster Response page on the DHM Web site.
Age Limitations
All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age at all locations (except Kansas). These limitations are set by the long-term recovery organizations with whom we partner and they are not negotiable.
