Winter 2010 Breaking the silence about abuse. (Three-session Study Guide is available) From domestic abuse to human trafficking, how can Christian women stand together to break the silence and stop the abuse of women, children, and men around the world. This issue will include information about the 2009-2010 Quadrennial service project, "Breaking the chains of modern-day slavery," along with stories from the 2008 Woman-to-Woman Worldwide Program trip to Israel/Palestine.
Spring 2010 Journeys through Revelation: Apocalyptic Hope for Today. A Bible study by Barbara Rossing. This year-long Bible study explores one of the least understood books in the Bible. Although brimming with mysterious symbolism, Revelation ultimately is a book of hope that has sustained people throughout history. In a journey reminiscent of the ancient Israelites' exodus from slavery, Rossing leads readers from an unjust empire through mythical battles to the renewed creation where God lives with us on earth.
