Woman-to-Woman Worldwide 2010 - Turkey

On October 12, 2010, fifteen participants in this journey met in New York City for orientation. The following evening they flew to Istanbul, Turkey. Invite one of the participants to share her journey with you, your women's group, or your church.

Turkey Service Project

 Istanbul Interparish Migrant Program (IIMP) is the WWW service project for 2011. IIMP was established in 1991 and focuses on the most marginalized gropus of immigrants, namely women with children. It is an ecumenical program of Christian missions. A one-page flyer contains a synopsis of the program and how you can support this project via a donation through Global Ministries. A five-page information packet contains more details, pictures, and the writings of WWW participant who had the gift of time to stay in the country and spend a day at the IIMP facility. Please take the time to read about her experience and the lives she touched. 

The Purpose of Disciples Women

The purpose of Disciples Women is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ and to provide a channel through which women in the congregation and the regional Women's Ministries in the United States and Canada may be joined in fellowship and find means for effective participation in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
