These conferences are sponsored by Disciples Home Misssions in cooperation with regions and local congregations. They are designed for both clergy and laypeople who work with children.

There have been four Children Welcome! Conferences with the first one being held in Indianapolis, Ind., in 2001. Additional conferences have been held in North Carolina, Missouri, and California.  

This conference is being jointly sponsored by Disciples and the Presbyterian Church, USA. Keynotes and discovery groups will focus on imagination, education and mission.
