In this week’s Monday moment, I am writing about the importance of “Shock Absorbers.” Yes, Shock Absorbers. You may ask, why? Simply, because in the times in which we are living, serving and leading I there are beautiful qualities found in those two beautiful cushions or springs found mostly, in vehicles, doors and shoes.
When actively working in vehicles, they are meant to “reduce the effect of traveling over rough ground, leading to improved ride quality and vehicle handling. Shock absorbers serve the purpose of limiting excessive suspension movement.”
Disciples Women, Sisters and Friends in life there will be times of shakes, shocks, jolts and rough patches along the way. I have a couple of questions. “Are we geared up for the ride?” “ Do you have enough cushion, flexibility and spring for the journey?” Friends, we must find creative ways to spiritually and strategically regroup, restore and move forward. This plan will help sustain and secure families, callings, relationships and lives. Having absorbency will help to lead as one navigates what is being considered, our new normal. The Holy Spirit will offer the Spiritual absorbance needed in riding on through to the next station of life.
Today, our message is simple. It can be readily applied to any and all real-life situations. This is Monday, and a shock absorber is coming your way.
Have a great week,
Dr. Christal L. Williams
