The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:16 that our gift will make room for us and bring us before other people that are able to bless us. Before you get to this point you must make room for the gift by accepting it and using it. If you are a painter but do not let anyone see your paintings, it will not make room for you. If you are a writer and do not let others see your writings it cannot make room for you. When you are working in your gift everywhere you go it will allow your light to shine. People will be able to see your good work and then glorify God, as it says in Matthew 5:16. As you make room for your gift, you will be making room for God to use you to bring others to Him. Luke 8:16 tells us that no one lights a lamp and hides it or puts it under a bed. The lamp goes on a stand so all that come into the area can see the light. Our gift is the light that God wants others to see. So, making room first for God will then allow us to make room for our gifts. What are you making room in your life for on today? Are you making room for the things of the flesh and not the spirit? Are there some things that you need to ask God to move over so that you can make room for Him? As you go through your week read this poem aloud:

God made women for a specific task
To love, nurture, and assist those who are afraid to ask
For help on life’s journey when times get tough
Because somehow, they forgot that God is enough
As women we give, and we give until it seems all is gone
Focusing only on the issues makes us feel all alone
I am my sister’s keeper no matter what you go through
Reminding you that God’s gifts will make room for you
So, take the time to make room for God
Knowing that wherever your feet trod
God will be there, and you do not have to be in despair
