What a difference a day makes … twenty four little hours. This article was due on April 10th, which was Good Friday. This is the day we reflected on Christ and his sacrifice, crucifixion and death on the cross. We see the heartbreak and listened to the message Christ gives us … literally until his last breath. For several hours, the earth was dark and we waited.
What a difference a day makes …. Twenty four little hours. This article had to be still and wait through Holy Saturday … while Jesus was in the tomb. It was a quiet day, in a sort of mean time, in between time kind of way. It seemed as if nothing was happening, yet everything was happening at the same time.
What a difference a day makes … twenty four little hours. This article sat through Resurrection Sunday as faithful women went to the tomb with their assignment to take care of the body …… but the script was flipped because Jesus wasn’t there. They went to the tomb to attend to a dead body, but left as the first preachers of the living WORD!! (Insert your praise here!!) These women were the first to proclaim that the tomb was empty, Jesus is alive and had rose from the dead.
What a difference a day makes … twenty four little hours. This article is published on Monday, and we are still experiencing the joy and glow of Resurrection Day. This weekend always reminds us that each day we can make a difference … a lot can happen in twenty four little hours. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy can come in the morning. What a difference a day makes … twenty four little hours. What difference are you going to make today with the gift of your twenty four hours? The world is waiting.
