Welcome to DHM Young Adult Kinections

A Space for Radical Love, Authentic Voices, and Collective Action!

Are you ready to break free from the status quo and step into a life that’s bold, purposeful, and unapologetically justice-driven? At DHM Young Adult Kinections, we believe faith isn’t just something you feel, it’s something you live out loud. We’re a movement that goes beyond the four walls of the church, reaching into the streets, online spaces, and every corner where God’s love and justice need to be known.

Who We Are:

We are a diverse community of young adults within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) who are committed to building inclusive spaces, deconstructing harmful narratives and transforming the world through radical compassion and relentless advocacy. This is a place where your story matters, your voice is heard, and your passion fuels real change.

Our Mission:

To empower young adults to be architects of a more just, equitable, and loving world. We’re to cultivate leadership, to create a culture where growth, faith, and authentic community thrive and to disrupt oppression systems. We’re building a movement of leaders who don’t just move through life—they create, and they change it.

What We’re About:

Healing and Wellness: Life can be challenging, and we believe in supporting each other through every season. Our community is a space for healing from life’s wounds—whether they come from trauma, injustice, or simply the struggles of everyday life. We promote holistic wellness through mental health resources, support groups, spiritual care, and practices that nourish the body, mind, and soul. Here, we grow stronger together, finding healing and wholeness in God’s love.

Faith in Action: We believe faith should be lived boldly and authentically. We offer spaces for exploration, dialogue, and growth through small groups, digital communities, social justice cohorts, and innovative worship experiences. Here, faith isn’t static—it’s ever-evolving, always engaging, and continually pushing us toward deeper understanding and action.

Justice and Liberation: We are advocates for justice in all forms. We’re committed to creating a world where everyone is free to live and love authentically, with their rights, dignity, and humanity fully recognized. We believe that real faith confronts injustice, calls out oppression, and works for liberation.

Social Entrepreneurship: We’re here to innovate. We support young adults who are launching bold, groundbreaking initiatives—from grassroots movements and sustainable enterprises to creative digital platforms. We believe in investing in ideas that challenge the status quo and empower communities. Together, we’re co-creating new systems rooted in equity, justice, and shared prosperity.

Faith Beyond Boundaries: Faith isn’t confined to a building. It’s alive, moving through coffee shops, campuses, digital spaces, and community centers. We’re committed to creating inclusive spaces wherever people are, challenging traditional norms, and embodying God’s love in ways that are relevant, transformative, and accessible to all.

Developing Changemakers: We’re not just about surviving—we’re about thriving. Our programs are designed to equip young adults with the tools they need to disrupt, reimagine, and lead. From workshops on intersectionality and justice to mentorship for faith-rooted organizing, we’re here to help you navigate life’s challenges and create a future that aligns with your values.

Everyone Has a Seat at the Table: No matter who you are, where you come from, or what you believe, you are welcome here. We stand against all forms of dehumanization and affirm that everyone is created in the image of God. We are committed to a table where there’s always room for more, where differences are celebrated, and where every person is invited to share their unique gifts.

Join Us: Be Part of the Change:

We’re building something new, something transformative. And we want you to be a part of it. Connect with us through our online communities, join our events, or partner with us in creating new opportunities for impact. Whether you’re looking to grow in your faith, make a difference in your community, or just find a place where you truly belong, Disciples Home Mission Young Adult Ministry is here for you.

Let’s Build, Let’s Heal, Let’s Transform—Together.
