Disciples Home Missions will award grants of up to $1,500 to support an event, activity, or resource that develops, nurtures, and strengthens the ministry of lay and/or clergy leadership in African American congregations of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). To be considered, applications must clearly relate the proposed project to one or more of the following categories:

• Leadership in Congregational Life
• Leadership in Outreach Ministries
• Faith Development of Leaders
• Non-Degree Seeking Scholarship Support for Leaders
• Leadership in Specialized African American Programming

Amount of Grant

All requests will be considered. There is no minimum request.

Application Deadline

The deadline for the Grants is May 31st of each year.  If you are interested in submitting a project, please review the Guidelines and submit completed applications no later than May 31st to Nichole Riddick.
