All Rights for All, Without Borders

RIM Director, Rev. Dr. Sharon Stanley-Rea, shares reasons faith partners are against family separation and detention, during The National Press Club launch on June 25 of the “All Rights for All—Without Borders” statement from religion scholars.  Dr. Peter Heltzel, scholar and Disciples Clergy from the NE Region, helped develop and share the statement, and Disciples clergy representatives Rev. Luis-Alfredo Cartegena Zayas of Park Avenue Christian Church, as well as Disciples clergy Rev. Monte Hillis and Rev. Rosetta Robinson likewise spoke at the Press Release.  At this time, more than 546 persons have signed on, and persons are invited to join in signing still via Groundswell.  An article about the release, from Religious News Service, is here.
