Now is a Critical Time to Encourage Congress to Uphold Decades Long Promises for Permanent Protections for Immigrant Families
The fight for citizenship for undocumented communities continues. However, recent decisions by the unelected Parliamentarian could remove the hope of citizenship if they are given more weight than is proper within Senate procedure.
Your support for citizenship continues to be urgently needed. And as people of faith, we know we are called to persist in seeking justice. NOW is an important time to raise our faith voices in solidarity with immigrant leaders in urging permanent protections.
If you feel led, Add your name to this joint faith letter urging VP Harris and Senate leadership to bypass the recommendation of the parliamentarian and persist in moving forward with a pathway to citizenship in the budget reconciliation bill.
This letter is for faith leaders and other individual people of faith, not organizations, and the deadline to sign is FRIDAY, 10/15 at midnight PT!
