Rev. Amy Spangler-Dunning, Des Moines, IA #Pray4Refugees

September 27, 2018

“My name is Amy Spangler-Dunning.  I am a clergy person in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in the Upper Northwest.  I am also a licensed mental health counselor, and serve many clients who deal ith trauma….When children come to this country and are separated from their parents, and primary caregivers, it instills a lot of deep fear and pain that we often see the ramifications of later….And so I am very concerned for our country to be open and welcoming to those who come to this country because of situations in their countries.  My prayer is that we would bring welcome and be hospitable to at least 75,000 refugees this year.”  –Rev. Amy Spangler-Dunning, clergy & licensed mental health counselor, Des Moines, IA
