VA Region #Pray4Refugees

September 17, 2018

“The topic of refugee resettlement is near and dear to my heart.  Our country is a land of opportunity, and I hope a land of hospitality.  Here in Virginia, we’ve been involved in refugee resettlement in Harrisonburg, Richmond, and Lynchburg.  I want to encourage our government to not accept any less than 75,000 refugees next year.  There is so much need and suffering, and we have the means to help.” See Rev. Coretha Loughridge, video here and urge our nation to #Welcome75K refugees to be resettled in the next fiscal year. Please let your legislators hear from you, as the decision will be made ASAP!!—and go here to see sample info. and contacts to call and tweet!
